We do this all the time. Book the session as normal and let us know it's a surprise in the notes. We'll coordinate with you discreetly via email or WhatsApp — timing, meeting point, and the reveal moment. The birthday person just thinks they're going for a walk in Paris.

Not at all. Any birthday is worth celebrating — whether it's your 23rd, your 37th, or your 60th. If you're in Paris and it's your birthday, that's reason enough. There are no rules on which ages deserve great photos.
For groups, we recommend the 90-minute or 2-hour session. This gives time for group shots, individual portraits, candid moments between friends, and even a champagne toast between locations. The 45-minute works well for solo birthday portraits or couples.
Absolutely. We love working with kids — our approach is playful, patient, and fun. For younger children, we recommend keeping it to 30 or 45 minutes to match their energy levels. Bringing a small treat or favourite toy always helps too.
Light rain can actually create beautiful, soft-lit photos — and Paris in the rain has its own kind of magic. For heavy rain, we'll work with you to reschedule or adapt to covered locations like elegant arcades and Parisian passages. Just reach out at least 48 hours ahead.
